British-Era secret tunnel found inside Delhi Legislative Assembly, connects to Red Fort

A tunnel-like structure was discovered at the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Speaking to ANI, Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel said that the tunnel connects the legislative assembly to Red Fort and was used by the Britishers to avoid reprisal while moving freedom fighters.  Goel further informed that the Delhi Legislative Assembly, which was used as Central Legislative Assembly after shifting of capital from Kolkata to Delhi in 1912, was turned into a court in 1926 and Britishers used this tunnel to bring freedom fighters to the court.  "When I became an MLA in 1993, there was hearsay about a tunnel present here that goes till Red Fort and I tried to search for its history. But there was no clarity over it," he stated.  "Now we have got the mouth of the tunnel but we are not digging it further as all the paths of the tunnel have been destroyed due to metro projects and sewer installations," he added.  The assembly speaker added that i...

What is Taliban? A Brief History...

So what exactly is Taliban? How did they gain so much power and control more land?

To understand what's happening in Afghanistan you need to know what has happened in Afghanistan in the 1980's. Afghan guerillas called the Mujahideen fought a Soviet occupation for the nine years. They even got money and weapons from CIA(USA). In 1989 the Soviet's pulled out from Afghanistan and for the next few years were pretty violent. By 1992 there was a Civil War inside Afghanistan by the tribal leaders fighting for power.

Two years later the militia called The Taliban started getting attention. Many of it's member's studied in Madrassa's in Afghanistan and across the border in Pakistan and some of them also fought as Mujahideen, and they had their own plan's for Afghanistan. "We want to capture Kabul and establish an Islamic Government in Afghanistan" said by a Taliban fighter.

"The people were scared by this lawlessness and the Taliban was marching from Kandahar, city to city saying we're going to make the cities safe for you again"; an Afghan Citizen about what Taliban was doing then. By 1996 Taliban captured the Captial of Afghanistan and declared Afghanistan as Islamic Emirate and imposed Sharia Law(Islamic Law). During those times, no one was allowed to watch movies, you can't listen to music, women isn't allowed to go to School, women have to wear certain type of clothes (Burkha), women must cover their full body including their faces, and it became more and more restrictive.

Then 9/11 happened (An Islamic terrorist Organization called Al-Qaeda does terrorist attacks on United States) USA was after the leader of Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, who was hiding out in Afghanistan with the help of Taliban. Taliban asked US that they wanted proof that Bin Laden was behind the attack. And when Taliban refused to hand over Bin Laden , America Invaded.

Then begins a new chapter. Within a couple of months the Taliban were forced out of power and Afghanistan got a new Government. Three years later it got a new Constitution and Hamid Karzai was elected as the President. While this was happening Taliban regrouped. They wanted US out from Afghanistan and Taliban wanted to come into power. What followed were years of conflict and it still going on till US lift their soldiers from Afghanistan.

More than 40,000 Afghan civilians have been kiilled, along with 64,000 Afghan military and police, 3,500 international soldiers have been killed. The US alone has spent almost a trillion dollars on the war and Reconstruction projects. And after all that Afghanistan is still deeply unstable and the Taliban was still a force that must be dealt with. "They're an insurgency fighting international occupation, as they see it. They're fighting an illegitimate government in Kabul, as they see it. And they also think of themselves as a Voice of Resistance in order to return Afghanistan into an Islamic Country"; Ashley Jackson, Co-Director of the Centre for the study of Armed Groups Overseas Development Institute.

Today Taliban has more than 80,000 militants and they have training camps across the country, and the area they control has been growing. They even control majority of areas in Afghanistan which also includes some Major Highways."Whoever controls the roads in Afghanistan, they pretty much control the country. They made the people that wherever they go they have to deal with Taliban"

The head of Taliban is Haibatullah Akhundzada. They run their own courts according to Sharia Law. All that control Taliban got made them rich. According to Taliban members and a UN committee they make upto $1.5 Billion a year. They also made a lot of money by growing opium and through drug trade. They even get funding from suspected sources, like Pakistan & Iran even though they deny it. For many years International Community tried to bring peace in Afghanistan, but hasn't achieved much. The Ghani Government saw Taliban as a dangerous threat to the citizens of Afghanistan. Taliban wanted the re-establishment of their rule that was fallen by the US intervention.

When US Government decided to pull back their soldiers from Afghanistan, Taliban saw an opportunity to regain power. They released violence throughout Afghanistan in order to put fear into the minds of the common people. There has also been assassinations on people by Taliban for helping NATO(Join Alliance by USA and many European Countries)  forces or Afghan Army.

Afghan's already raised the question back then what would happen if Taliban came to power. Will women be able to travel without a male guradian? Will women be able to go to school's? Will women be able to be Judges? Will a women be able to run for President?

Taliban has clearly said that they'll give rights to women but..... Only under Islamic Law. Their all rights (right to education, right to work) will only be granted under Islamic law....  In a survey done in 2019 , more than 85% of people said that they've no sympathy for Taliban.

Till today many people still accuse United States for what's happening in Afgh
ansitan.... For them i have some Questions....

Did United States taught Taliban to make women sex-slaves?

Did United States taught Taliban to deny a Women'
s right to Education?

Did United States taught Taliban to deny a Women's right to Work?

Did United States taught Taliban to kill Women if she didn't wear Burkha or Hijab?

Did United States taught Taliban to take innocent lives?

And the List goes on and on and on........

China bans video games for under 18 kids to only 3 hours per week

Kids and teens under 18 years old in China will only be allowed up to three hours per week to play online video games, according to new rules published Monday by China’s National Press and Publication Administration. The move is a fresh blow to the country’s gaming giants from Tencent to NetEase, which have dealt with an onslaught of regulation this year in areas from anti-monopoly to data protection. That has spooked investors and dented the value of Chinese tech stocks. According to a translated notice about the new rules, people under 18 will be allowed to play video games one hour a day between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends and legal holidays. The agency billed the rules as a way to safeguard children’s physical and mental health. Following this news of the neighboring country, netizens on Twitter too demanded that such a decision should be taken in India as it will curb the screen usage of kids. However, psychiatrists from around the country said it will have a drastic negat...

Global supply chain in crisis : World gets ready to pay double prices for half the products across various sectors

Trade is a global network and only works efficiently when all participants are healthy and cooperative. The U.S./China trade war ignited the U.S./Asia supply chain expansion.
