British-Era secret tunnel found inside Delhi Legislative Assembly, connects to Red Fort

  A tunnel-like structure was discovered at the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Speaking to ANI, Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel said that the tunnel connects the legislative assembly to Red Fort and was used by the Britishers to avoid reprisal while moving freedom fighters.  Goel further informed that the Delhi Legislative Assembly, which was used as Central Legislative Assembly after shifting of capital from Kolkata to Delhi in 1912, was turned into a court in 1926 and Britishers used this tunnel to bring freedom fighters to the court.  "When I became an MLA in 1993, there was hearsay about a tunnel present here that goes till Red Fort and I tried to search for its history. Former J&K CM threatens that Taliban-Like action will be brought in J&K

 Ex-CM of J&K Mehbooba Mufti threatens India of Taliban-Like Action in Kashmir. By Glorifying Taliban, she said, "don't test our patience and change your ways while you still have time".

                                      PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday made a serious comparison using Taliban. She also warned the Government to take lessons on how militant group could throw out a superpower nation such as America from Afghanistan and asked to restore the special status of J&K.

BJP leader Nirmal Singh replied that she was just frustrated as she lost her political ground."If she thinks that she can blackmail us then she needs to understant that this is Modi's India. Those days are gone and now we'll not be blackmailed," he also added.

Since she was released from detention in October last year, she has continuously urged the government to have talks with Pakistan. On the 2nd Anniversary of the revocation of J&K's Special status, she conducted a protest in Srinagar saying "
we" will resist and force the government to speak to Pakistan.
