A tunnel-like structure was discovered at the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Speaking to ANI, Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel said that the tunnel connects the legislative assembly to Red Fort and was used by the Britishers to avoid reprisal while moving freedom fighters.  Goel further informed that the Delhi Legislative Assembly, which was used as Central Legislative Assembly after shifting of capital from Kolkata to Delhi in 1912, was turned into a court in 1926 and Britishers used this tunnel to bring freedom fighters to the court.  "When I became an MLA in 1993, there was hearsay about a tunnel present here that goes till Red Fort and I tried to search for its history. As Indian govt plans on cutting import tax, Tesla to launch 'cheap' Rs.18 lakh electric hatchback without steering.

Tesla Inc. is closer to making its official debut in India after it received approval to make or import four models in India which currently include Model 3 and Model Y variants.

Tesla has had its vehicles certified as being roadworthy, a posting on the website of the nation's ministry of road transport and highways showed.

However considering the high prices of its vehicles especially after the high import tax In India which however is being considered to be lowered for electric vehicles, Tesla is planning to launch a 'cheap' hatchback worth $25,000.

Although there has been no official announcement regarding the name of this affordable EV, many expect it to be called Tesla Model 2.

This competitive price point will be achieved by Tesla's new battery cell and battery manufacturing effort that could reduce the battery costs by over 50 per cent, it added.

The firm is reportedly planning to manufacture the cars at a large scale at its Gigafactory Shanghai in China. The firm could use the same plant to export the cars globally.

India is being considered the main target of the lower priced Tesla as the vehicle market here is captured by vehicles below the Rs. 20 lakh price tag and this new model could be viable.

However autonomous cars are currently banned in India and it would be interesting to see if and how after the launch of Model 2, the modifications are made.

Besides cars, Tesla is now planning to sell electricity directly to consumers in the US. The carmaker has filed an application with the Public Utilities Commission of Texas to become a "retail electric provider" (REP). Tesla will sell electricity under its subsidiary Tesla Energy Ventures.

Kids and teens under 18 years old in China will only be allowed up to three hours per week to play online video games, according to new rules published Monday by China’s National Press and Publication Administration. The move is a fresh blow to the country’s gaming giants from Tencent to NetEase, which have dealt with an onslaught of regulation this year in areas from anti-monopoly to data protection. That has spooked investors and dented the value of Chinese tech stocks. According to a translated notice about the new rules, people under 18 will be allowed to play video games one hour a day between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends and legal holidays. The agency billed the rules as a way to safeguard children’s physical and mental health. Following this news of the neighboring country, netizens on Twitter too demanded that such a decision should be taken in India as it will curb the screen usage of kids. However, psychiatrists from around the country said it will have a drastic negat...

Despite this, she said, the people wanted money for letting the cargo in.  The VSSC officials said their truck was stranded for more than four hours after workers sought 10 lakh.
